How Often Should You Service Your Air Conditioning?

Air conditioning is easy to take for granted. It runs quietly in the background until the day it does not. Regular servicing is the single most effective way to avoid that day, keep running costs down and protect your manufacturer warranty.

The short answer

For most domestic systems we recommend one service per year. For commercial systems, and any unit that runs hard all year, two services a year is the sensible standard. Kitchens, server rooms and retail spaces with heavy footfall often benefit from quarterly checks.
